Piñon’s carbon management system is designed to maintain the highest levels of safety and reliability, including:

  • Removal: Three 450 GPM amine trains for chemical elimination of CO2 and H2S
  • Compression: Three acid gas injection (“AGI”) compressors, including a fully redundant unit
  • Injection: Two Devonian AGI wells, each with rigorous casing design to prevent leakage
